Roy
Omond was the original programmer employed by the MDS(X) contract.
All blame for the original SPSS-like syntax should be aimed at Roy. Since that time, he has been involved in the European
molecular biology scene, mostly at the European Molecular Biology
Laboratory in Heidelberg, more recently at the European Bioinformatics
Institute in Hinton, near Cambridge. For the last 5 years he has
been an independent consultant specialising in Digital (now Compaq)
operating systems, principally VMS and Tru64 Unix. |
