LABELS and COMMENT

The optional command LABELS improves the identification of variables and subjects in the output.

The variable labels should follow on successive lines of input.

When using the corresponding Input Wizard, column and row labels can optionally be entered at the appropriate places in the data entry spreadsheet displayed by the Wizard.

An exception to this is TRISOSCAL, where the Input Wizard opens a separate window for this purpose.

In other procedures, it may be useful to employ COMMENT to help to identify variables, which for reasons of space, are identified in the output only by numbers. Comment may be continued on subsequent lines as required, and may be inserted anywhere in the input file as an aid to clarity.
